Creating an Avatar!

Objective: SWBAT create their own avatar as an introduction to their website by giving a brief description of themselves using the program voki.

Example of how yours should be!

Today’s Activity (Due Today):

1. Students will create a Google Document

2. Students will write a brief report about their personal information that will be used to create their Voki Avatar!

Answer the questions below in full sentences.

a. Name

b. Birthday

c. Location of Birth

d. What school do you attend?

e. Favorite hobbies and pastimes (give at least 3)

f. Favorite subject in school and why?

g. A short-term goal

h. A long-term goal

3. Once you have answered all of these questions make sure you rename your document:
Voki Introduction.

4. Make sure you start your paragraph with: Hi and welcome to my webpage!

See Example Below:

Hi and welcome to my webpage. My name is Jon Doe and my birthday is November 26, 1992. I was born in Fresno, CA and I am an 8th grader at Tioga Middle School. My favorite hobbies and pastimes include hanging out with my friends, playing football, and playing video games. My favorite subject in school is Exploring Information Technology because I get to learn all about the internet and a lot of other types of fun technology. A short-term goal of mine would be to get an A in Mr. Graney’s class. A long-term goal would be to attend college and become a doctor or lawyer.

the qoute of the week means help change the world.i can relate to the qoute of the week by seeing that no other class has qoutes of the week.i do believe respect is importiant because with out it that just makes all of us rude

I think the quote means if you change the world might change too. I can't relate to this. I think respect is important because you will make the world a better place for you.

1.the quote of the week means if you want to change somthing then change it .
2.i want to change my grades on 4 and 5 and 6 period so i will change my grade .
3. respect is important because if you give respect then respect you will get it.

2. the way to relate it is to tell them to to act the way they wan the world to act.
