Learning and Matching the Keys!

Objective: SWBAT decipher and comprehend what each key does on the keyboard by searching and labeling the keys and functions on a blank keyboard page.

Good Tuesday Morning Class!

Today we will take the first 15 minutes of class to wrap up our Blank Keyboard from yesterday. These will be collected today. Next, we will move on to Typing Web as we missed our lesson yesterday. We will then play a game that will help you digitally match the keys on the keyboard.

Daily Directions:
Step One: Take the first 15 minutes of class to complete the Blank Keyboard Handout. Make sure all of your vocabulary questions have been answered. Turn it in at the front of the class.

Step Two: Next, please log on to Typing Web and complete the lesson "The Bottom Row Keys." We will have 20 minutes of typing on Typing Web.

Step Three: Once completed with BOTH the handout and the Typing Web lesson, click on the button below to try the 'Keyboard Challenge Game." Here you will try to place the keys on the keyboard back to their correct position. You will get more points for correct placements and points will be deducted if they are incorrect. This will further help with understand the functions of the keyboard.

1.No I do not because I already know a lot but i still want to know why there is 2 shift keys.
2. I like Typing Web because I am already pretty good at typing.

1. Yes, I do feel like I learned more about the keyboard because, before I did not know what to do when I am in this class. 2. I liked the Keyboard Challenge because, its a fun thing to do when you finished all your work.

1. I do know more about the keyboard, for example, I did'nt know what the esc button did until now!
2. My favorite activity was Typing Web. It was my favorite activity because of it's simplicty.

yes i do know more about key board because mr.graney put on wedsites about key board.Blank keyboard becaues they teach us how to type whith out looking at the key board.

1.] I think the one could help was the lighting that could come in hardy when it is darkand bright.

1. yes i do becasue now i know about the top row bottom row keys keys at and it is easier to locate them now
2. i liked typing web because it helps train ur brain and it is kinda challenging

No,i think i learn enough already.....For Ex:i know all of the rows i and i want to go beyond that,but you have to Pratice to make it earlier for you...
I like the part when i was done i got to relax...hehe
Im tired lol but the blank keyboard was the most fun activity ever... ( - . - ) yep fun........

i do know more. pressing "tab" can set a square on an item on the screen. i know more because i go on the computer alot. i liked the typing because of the knowledge it gave me on the keyboard.
