Making Name Cards

Good Morning/Afternoon class!

Today we will be making our own name cards so that we can learn everyone's name in the class using a program called Google draw. Google drawing is a very easy way to mix images and text. Are you ready to get started?

Step One: Click the button below! This will open your name card template in a new window.

Click Here to go to your name card !

Step Two: There are 3 sections you will need to complete.
a. Enter your first and last name (its should say Participant Name Here, delete this and enter your name)
b. Enter the name of the class
c. Enter your period number

Step Three: Click on the button below. It will take you a new website for Tioga Middle School. This is where you will get your Tioga Logo.

Get your Tioga logo here

Step Four: Right click the image of the Tomahawk in the center of the page. Click "Save Picture As" and when the new window pops up. Click on Desktop first (look at picture below) and then click save. This will save the picture to your desktop. Below is a picture that circles what buttons to press.

Step 5: Go back to the window with your name card and click on the "Insert" tab.

1. i think the quote means its better to start and not finish then to not start at all so what its saying is to at least try.

2. the way i would relate the quote " Dead last is greater then did not finish which trumps did not start" is that its better to at least try then giving up.

3. no if you at least tried its ok but if you never started then thats not ok.
