Tuesday-Google Drive

SWBAT comprehend the Google Drive interface by successfully downloading, saving, and uploading files to their Google Drive account.

            Good Morning/Afternoon Class

Today we will be learning more about a Google feature called Google Drive. Google Drive is a free service from Google that allows you to store files from your computer online and access them anywhere using the cloud.  

                      Daily Directions:

Step One: Log into your Google Email account.  

Step Two: At the top of the screen click on the button that says drive. Your Google Drive will appear. See the picture below.

Step Three: You will next save both an image and download a file and upload them to your Google drive account.  Right click on the Tomahawk logo below.  Save it to your DESKTOP.  Click on the link below to save the Tomahawk Times Newsletter to your DESKTOP as well!

Step Four: You will next upload these files to your Google Drive account.  Follow the picture steps below. Click the upload button.  Then click files.

Click on DESKTOP then click on TIOGA TOMAHAWK and then click OPEN.  
Repeat this process with the TOMAHAWK TIMES NEWSLETTER.

Your files will now show up in your Drive!

Congratulations!!! You have successfully downloaded, saved, and uploaded files today!  Your on your way to becoming a pro!!!
Step Five: Create a document, rename it "My First Doc" and insert the Tioga Tomahawk into your document.  Follow the steps below:

Click on the Insert Tab and then click on My Drive.  Then select the Tioga Logo and hit select.  The image will appear on your page.

i think it means that coming in last is better then not trying at all

I think the quote means that you should finish what you started.I can relate this to my class mr.martines tells us that we should finish what we started and then makes us laugh. I think that it could be right sometimes but then it may think it could also be wrong.
