SWBAT research advertisements and explain their purpose by examining popular paper ads and by creating 3 Pros and 3 Cons to justify their answers.

Today we will restructure our website and then learn more about the purpose of Advertisements and why they are important.

Step Two: On your "ADVERTISEMENTS" webpage answer the questions below from your lecture PowerPoint:
1. What are Advertisements and what is their purpose?
2. How do advertisements persuade people?
3. What are 3 examples of how they attract your attention or stick in your memory?
4. What types of language or words do advertisements use to appeal to their target audience? Give 3 examples.
5. Give me 3 other examples of what advertisements do/contain/focus on?

1.I think that the quote means to not give up hope and show people that you can do things that you can do and prove them wrong because you had followed your dreamed.

2.Yes , but only sometimes because people may have proved me wrong , but then i always tried my best to figure out and prove people that i am right sometimes.When i prove people wrong it makes me kinda feel bad , but at the same time surprised because i have proved people wrong.

3.When i feel like giving up it makes me feel bad and it makes me want to keep on trying. Sometimes i tell myself that i need to reach my goal and keep on doing what i am doing.

I think about the quote mean that people say they cant but prove them wrong. Next is that people say you cant but you can. And I feel like i cant.
