SketchUp 3D Design

Objective: SWBAT design and create a 3D object of their choice using the numerous functions of SketchUp.  

Today's Lesson 
We will be starting to use a new program called SketchUp!  SketchUp is a great program where we can build 3D objects.  We will use this project to build our 3D house and our  3D cars.

Step 1: Typing.com

Step 2: Start SketchUp

Text Directions: Open SKETCHUP on your desktop.  

A. When asked to pick a TEMPLATE please choose : 
Woodworking: Millimeters.

B. Click on VIEW at the top of the screen, select TOOLBARS, and click on LARGE TOOL SET.

C. Explore the program!  

Step 3: Complete the handout

Step 4: Design something!!!

Robot, building, house, your name, etc
