Welcome To The Web-Catch Up and Comment!

Objective:SWBAT navigate and complete exciting challenges and activities that will allow them to learn more about the internet by working their way through the website "Welcome To The Web.

Today's Task: Since the majority of students needed more time to complete this section as there were a few internet problems, we will use today as a catch up day to wrap up this section. Read and follow the steps below:

Step One: Click on the "Welcome to the Web" picture to be taken back to the web page.
Step Two: Navigate back through the pages and complete the handout. All questions must be 100% completed. Mr. Graney will come by and check all work and input your grades by the end of the period. If you have finished your handout ask Mr. Graney to check it to give you a grade and then move on to step three.

Step Three (Exit Ticket): Leave a new comment on this section about what you have learned so far in this section of the website. Answer these questions below in your comments:

1. What is a Hyperlink?
2. What can you do on the internet?
3. What does the back button do?
4. Was it easy or hard to find answers to all the questions?
5. What does www stand for?

Step Four: If you finish all of the above you can get started on the "Staying Safe" section. Please take a handout at the front of the class. We will continue working on this tomorrow!
